The grandkids got an interactive video game from Santa this Christmas. It has a guitar, microphone to sing along, and an electronic drumset. Fifteen yr. old Zach looks like he has natural talent as a drummer. Christmas Eve and Day we had fun enjoying each other's company. Jon and I restarted the Bushel Basket family tradition of giving white elephant gifts. Some were better than others. We gave Dave a heavy coil of used copper tubing that they tore out when they plumbed in our new AC. He looked puzzled. Not everyday you get that. It will fetch a few bucks at the recyclers. Not your ordinary Christmas. One of my favorite things about this Christmas; son Andy said, "You know, we actually have a functional family. You hear so much about dysfunctional families." We enjoyed spending time together. We are blessed.
