Our family is abounding in blessings with new babies. We have new grandbabies. Jon's brother has had two new baby granddaughters in the past six weeks. Each of his sons is a new father of a baby girl. I don't have a picture of the the first little sweatheart but she is named Savannah Rose. The picture is of Lia. I love both names. Lia's mom is Chinese. Born in China and her family is still there. THis little darling has quite a heritage. Her dad is part American Indian and French and from our family's side Swiss, Austrian, and German. I guess she is just an All American kid but looks to be quite the beauty.
I am currently reading a very good book called "Wild Swans". It is a memoir of a Chinese three generations of Chinese women from 1910- present. I am sure this little girl will be spared many of the troubles and trials those women experienced living through warlords, foreign invastion and civil war culminating in a repressive communist regime.
