Mary started it. Zo -Ro. Zoe and Roman. Zoe is going home tomorrow. Little Roman is a couple credits short of graduation and will stay in the hospital until he is able to eat better. Not meat and potatoes, but he is only able to take about half of his ration before he poops out. Years from now we will tease him that his sister chowed down better at first.
Tomorrow will be a day of mixed feelings for Mike and Mary. Delighted to have the little lady go home, but hating to leave their young man in the nursery. Be inspired little guy. Rest up. Get your strength. Don't take it personally. Everyone says the preemie girls rally quicker but the boys catch up. Grandma and grandpa can't wait to watch your grow. I can visualize you now pushing a little truck across the floor saying, "vroom...vroom" Get your rest. You are going to have a busy life.
